How does it work?

Split dome moves the waterline away from the GoPro lens and dramatically improves your camera’s underwater functionality and image quality. Plus – it allows you to make those sick split photo shots that are half underwater, half above it that leave people wondering how you managed to capture them. Underwater photography can be hard, but a GoPro camera with its nearly infinite depth of field and a wide-angle lens is a perfect match to our Split dome port making it’s use as simple as pressing the shutter button. Dome Port

Split GoPro dome port is made out of high-grade Acrylic material & shock resistant ABS plastic. It is waterproof up to 30m. Your camera is additionally safely stored in a separate housing, similar to standard GoPro Super Suit housing (that alone costs over 30EUR) that is waterproof up to 45m. Camera housing can be removed from the dome and used separately if needed. All camera control buttons can be used while camera is fixed in the dome, LCD screen on the back is visible (but can not be operated through the housing).

Carbon Grip

The floaty grip (bobber) is made out of carbon making it almost indestructible – it’s 3 times as strong as steel and very lightweight. The mount at the top of the handle is a standard GoPro mount that fits the SPLIT GoPro Dome Port as well as ordinary GoPro camera housing or any other extension or gadget that uses this mount.  There is a threaded insert at the bottom of the grip that holds the strap (leash) mount, this mount can also be removed.
