1. Clean the Zipper: Make sure that the zipper is free of dirt, sand, salt, or debris by rinsing with fresh water (use a soft brush if needed) and allowing it to dry completely.
2. Apply Lubricant: Open the zipper. Apply a small amount of the silicone-based zipper lubricant at the top of the zipper (docking station) and along the length of the zipper teeth on both sides. The top of the zipper and first few centimeters make the most difference when it comes to smooth zipper operation. It is not necessary (or advised) to lube the whole length of the zipper.
3. Spread Evenly: Gently work the zipper back and forth several times to distribute the lubricant evenly.
4. Wipe Excess: Use a clean, dry cloth to remove any excess grease from the zipper and surrounding material.

Reapply the zipper lubricant when needed.

EXTRA TIP: Always lube the zippers before long storage.
