The DryTide Flat 2L Dry Bag keeps small essentials protected from rain, splashes, sand and dirt without the bulk of a traditional round dry bag. Its slim shape fits neatly inside a backpack, suitcase or larger dry bag, while the roll-top closure and welded construction help keep water out when properly closed.
With a detachable shoulder strap and multiple attachment points, you can also carry it on its own or attach it to other gear.

You don’t always need a large dry bag. Sometimes it’s just your passport, phone, wallet, keys and a few other things you really don’t want getting wet.
A conventional dry bag can be more space than you need for that. The Flat 2L was designed around a simpler idea: keep a few important things protected while taking up as little space as possible. The flat shape packs neatly between other gear instead of forming the round tube shape common to traditional dry bags.
It works just as well inside a larger backpack as it does on its own. Put your documents in it before travelling, keep your phone and keys protected on a wet boat deck, or use it as a small waterproof organiser inside your main bag.

Different dry bags solve different problems. The right size depends not only on how many litres you need, but also on the shape of the gear you carry and how easily you want to find it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the DryTide Flat 2L Dry Bag waterproof?
Yes. The bag is waterproof when properly closed. The waterproof construction combines PVC-coated ripstop nylon, high-frequency welded seams and a roll-top closure.
It is designed for rain, splashes and wet environments. Like other roll-top dry bags, it is not designed for intentional or prolonged underwater use.
Does the 2L dry bag float?
Yes. It floats when properly closed with sufficient air trapped inside.
How do I close the 2L Dry Bag?
Align the top edges and roll the top down tightly at least three times. Then buckle the ends together. The roll-top needs to be closed correctly for the bag to provide its intended waterproof protection. See full closing instructions for more info.
What can I fit inside the 2L Dry Bag?
It is designed for small essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, passport, travel documents, small electronics and similar items.
If you regularly need to carry a camera, larger electronics or clothing, consider a larger dry bag such as the 5L Seagull.
Can I use it to protect my phone underwater?
No. The 2L Flat Dry Bag is not designed for intentional or prolonged underwater use. If you specifically want to take your phone swimming or underwater, use the DryTide Waterproof Phone Pouch, which is designed for that purpose.
Can I carry the 2L Dry Bag over my shoulder?
Yes. It comes with a detachable shoulder strap that attaches to the D-rings on the bag. The D-rings can also be used to attach the bag to other gear.
